There are two eye screws set at the upper end on both the left and right. This is helpful when lowering it from the pulley. There are six holes placed at intervals of about 6cm on the underside. This is useful for tying it to the treadle. There are two rods for attaching wire heddles.

Wire Heddle
This tool is necessary for making sheds in the warp.
It is attached to the shaft for use.

As the number increases the thickness decreases.
We offer two kinds of wire heddles, those with a special rust resistant coating, and those without.
To protect the threads from rust damage, we suggest the special coated wire heddles.

Heddle Hook

There are two styles of heddle hooks, thick and thin.

The thin variety is for finer threads like silk.
It is also used to take out the weft threading from the center rod of the shuttle.
For that reason it is also sometimes called a weft hook.

The thick variety is used for larger thread like wool.
